One of the key lessons that I have learnt in this module is that it is important to know our true selves. We should always be aware of our own personal development in every aspect. From there, we would know our true capabilities. Once we acquire this knowledge, it would be much more easier to paint our own future which now could still be a plain white sheet. Above all, the one most important step is to plan everything out before making a move. This is the stage where the risks come in. However, what is life without risks right?
The tasks that were allocated for us to complete were very useful in order to know our true selves. For example, during the SWOT Analysis, I spent a huge amount of time to think about my strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats. In the end, I managed to get a complete and summarized list which I am very satisfied with. The career test was also quite beneficial for me. Yes, I have done many career tests in the past but I admit this time, the results are very accurate. Accurate results leads to a clearer explanation of what the careers paths that lie ahead for me. The Buddies Learning Style gave me the opportunity to share with my friends some of my learning techniques as an auditory learner and at the same time get to know what are my friends' secret recipe in learning.
The Smart Goal listing actually was quite difficult because it requires me to think a few years ahead in life. However, if there was no such activity, I would not have done it on my own. I would say the same thing for the reflective essay. As for the University action plan, I finally know what are the application requirements for the university that I plan to enroll in. Before, I only knew briefly about the details as I thought that I still have time, but now I know that time is ticking by so fast that I cannot afford to sit back and relax. The inspirations are actually a bonus for me because since small, I've been a fa of disney movies. Therefore, I would just need to recall my childhood memories and copy and paste them into my blog.
